DREWAPALOOZA 2K17

My name is Lauren Berger and I am a graphic designer/illustrator in the New York Metropolitan area that aspires to use my talent to make a difference.

Recently, singer/songwriter/producer Jon Bellion received unfortunate news about his childhood friend, Drew. Drew had recently suffered from a diving accident that left him fighting for movement after a serious spinal chord injury. Since then, Bellion has posted numerous links on his social media accounts with the hashtag #KeepFightingDrew in order to raise awareness of his friend's injury and support his cause. In his most recent efforts, he announced "Drewapalooza", a concert in December of 2017 in which all proceeds will go towards the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation to help fund spinal chord research and provide the proper care and support for people like Drew.

 

My proposal is simple: to help raise money through merchandise. If we can get Jon and his team to invest in as little as 500 shirts at ~$6 a shirt, they could be sold for $15-$20 which have the potential of raising up to $7,000 extra for the Reeve Foundation. In addition, the snap code on the sleeve (the broken up circle you can see in the mockup) will provide a link for people with smartphones to access and donate directly through the foundation's website for post-show donations at any time.
